HOLISTIC POSTNATAL SUPPORT

Decorative botanical sprig

Compassionate care for emotional wellbeing and recovery, however long it’s been since you gave birth.

The postnatal period is a time of profound change, adjustment and recovery. As a trained doula, my role is to walk alongside you during this transition, offering calm, compassionate guidance, emotional care and practical reassurance as questions and challenges arise.

I provide ongoing postnatal support for women and couples. Whether you are newly postpartum or navigating the lasting effects of birth further down the line, you are warmly welcome. Consultations are available from my clinic in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, or online, allowing you to access care wherever you are.

The postnatal period can bring a wide range of emotions, from joy and profound love to overwhelm, uncertainty or isolation. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly, feel heard and gain clarity, so you feel informed and less alone.

Each consultation is thoughtfully tailored to you and your unique postnatal journey. My approach is shaped by lived experience, doula training and wider postnatal education, and prioritises natural and holistic methods wherever appropriate. I take a whole-person view of wellbeing, considering physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and social health, recognising that all of these play an important role in postnatal recovery and overall wellbeing.

HOW IT WORKS

Decorative botanical sprig

Postnatal support begins with an initial consultation. This gives us the opportunity to meet, explore your story fully and decide together what feels most supportive for you. Your partner is very welcome to join you, if this feels right.

If you choose to continue, support is then offered through two package options, rather than individual consultations. These packages include structured one-to-one sessions, alongside the ability to reach out between appointments by call, email or message for advice, guidance or reassurance. Support isn’t limited to a fixed number of sessions, as continuity and responsiveness are central to my work and reflect my doula training and approach to care. My hope is to walk alongside you so you feel supported and gently guided throughout.

INITIAL POSTNATAL CONSULTATION

1 hour & 30 minutes — £155

This is a calm and open conversation where we explore your health, lifestyle and emotional wellbeing, as well as your pregnancy, birth and postnatal experience to date. We also gently look at your recovery after birth, any feeding or early parenting concerns, and how you are adjusting during this transition.

This consultation is an opportunity to connect and decide whether ongoing support feels right for you.

POSTNATAL SUPPORT PACKAGES

3 months of postnatal support — £600

6 months of postnatal support — £1050  â€‹

This package offers holistic, practical and emotional care during the postnatal period, with regular one-to-one sessions shaped around what you need as you recover and adjust after birth, as well as ongoing support in-between sessions. Drawing on my professional doula training, lived experience and wider education in reproductive health, my approach prioritises natural and holistic methods wherever possible, with the intention of helping you feel reassured, informed and cared for during this transition.

Care may include guidance on what to expect during the postnatal period, space to talk through and process your birth experience, particularly if it was unexpected or traumatic, and compassionate guidance as you navigate the physical and emotional changes that can follow birth. This may also include recognising signs of postnatal anxiety, depression or PTSD, alongside support in accessing appropriate medical care when needed.

My approach takes a whole-person view of wellbeing, considering your physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual health. This may include guidance around nourishment, rest, movement, stress management and self-care, alongside pelvic floor guidance and support for physical recovery following birth. I can also offer practical guidance with infant feeding, including breastfeeding or pumping, with referrals to lactation consultants where appropriate.  Reassurance and practical input around baby-related questions or concerns is also included, alongside signposting or referrals to other professionals if needed, so you feel confident and supported without feeling overwhelmed.

Ongoing contact is available between sessions, so you’re welcome to reach out with questions, concerns or for reassurance. You may message, email or call, and I aim to respond within 24 hours at the latest.
